The holidays are coming up and it gets busy at the salon. Try to let me know a little earlier if you want to come in and if you can’t make it please let me know! I have a very casual cancellation policy, but not showing up leaves me with open spots that could have been filled. Thanks!
One month in and everything is going well. The patio has been great for the sunny days!
We are finished with the floors and are working on painting and plumbing. It’s looking great and we hope to be complete this weekend! If you need to get in sooner you can still come to the old salon. Call 206-297-2002
After the flood last July I have finally found a great location to reopen! It is going to be better than ever at the new place, Stardust Salon, located at 7220 Linden Ave N 98103. It is on the corner of 73rd and Linden, so still very close. I have signed a 5 year lease, so no more moves any time soon.
My number is still the same and we can’t wait to see you there starting April 1st!
I have not been so good at keeping up here!
It is already the holiday party season, so call soon if you want to get in before the end of the year. We also now have an esthetician at the new location. Sorine is great and you can coordinate a facial or waxing at the same time as when you are getting your hair done!
I’m working my regular hours over the holidays – come see Solomon and me!
I will be going back to New Orleans for a week. My last day at work will beMonday, Aug 29th and I will return Wed Sept 7th. I will have my phone with me on my trip and can book for when I return, but if you want to come in before I leave call soon!
They are having to tear down the ceiling and some of the walls, as well as repairing the floor. Starting Saturday my new place will be http://www.sugarcombsalon.com/prices.shtml
It is always fun to check out a new place and meet new people! They have been very nice and inviting – and there is parking!! Call me at 297-2002 to book starting Saturday.
They had a small fire upstairs today and their sprinklers went on for a long time and flooded us out! Tonight they are having it professionally dried out and will soon need to put a new ceiling in the main room. We are hoping to be able to use the small room until it is complete or I may borrow a chair at a friend’s salon. I should have it figured out by Tuesday evening!
Hang in there and we will get you in asap!
Meet my new foster dog, Rorie! She is being treated for long term neglect…especially her ears, but has a great attitude and loves everyone. She should be ready to start looking for her new home in the next month!
